Thors Cove Cottage is located on a grassy waterfront clearing. Guests have the exclusive use of this area for their own recreation. A Badminton net & rackets, Croquet Set, Horseshoe Pitch, Screened Gazebo and Hammock by the sea are provided for guests.

Hiking: 15 miles of hiking into Theodosia Valley or behind Thors Cove to Southview Rd. Thors Cove Main, a logging road, is a short walk directly behind Thors Cove Cottage allowing easy access into Theodosia Valley or hike south to Southview Rd which eventually connects with Hiway 101. View the Inlet Complex during both hikes. Sunshine Coast Trail accessable from Malaspina Rd. Hike all or part of trail to Sarah Point before or after your stay at Thors Cove.

Biking:

• 4 adult size bicycles are provided for biking on Thors Cove Main.

Swimming & Beach Combing:

• swimming in the warm waters off the rocks in Thors Cove; river shoes recommended

Bird & Wildlife Watching:

• Marbled murrelets, herons, bald eagles, cormorants, osprey, kingfishers, loons, hummingbirds, towhees, blue jays, grouse, grebe, mergansers, migrating swans are the most common water, forest and shore birds observed in the area
• Seals, river otters, bob cat, black tail deer, rabbits, marten, chipmunks, squirrels (and the very occasional shy black bear, which the owner's dog, Abby, always chases out of the orchard)
