- The 3 bedroom, 850 square foot cottage is newly built and craftsman finished with reclaimed fir wainscoting, exposed fir beams and fir flooring. A cupola in the roof lets in light to an open plan well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are on either side of the kitchen for more privacy. There is a wood burning stove in the living room for those chilly spring & fall evenings. Thors Cove Cottage has a great waterfront view from the 20 foot cedar deck and from the living room.

- Sleeping accommodations: 1 queen size bed in one bedroom, 2 twin beds in second bedroom, 1 set of bunk beds in smaller bedroom, and a double size futon couch in living room.
- Bedding, linen and towels provided
- Fully equipped kitchen with propane gas stove & refrigerator, & spices.

- Propane hot water shower and flush toilet; additional sink in master bedroom
- CD player and radio, board games and a small library
- Gas barbeque and fire pit in the yard (useage only if there
is no published campfire ban. The cottage owners also reserve the right to
ban campfires if the property and grounds are very dry.)
- AC solar operated lights (low environmental impact) Solar power provides good lighting for the cottage but large demand appliances such as hair dryers won't work; battery chargers, electric razors are okay.
- Screened gazebo beside the ocean for evening sunset viewing
- Use of private wharf for kayak and boat mooring, bird
watching and hanging out, located a few minutes walk through the forest.

- Cell Phone Range: Cottage is within Lower Mainland & Vancouver
Island cell phone range with the more powerful cell phone models but if your
cell phone doesn't get a signal, this could be your chance to do without
one. Imagine the peace and quiet!

- Cell phone for safety purposes is available at owners house (Susan Canning & Roger Thorn), a 3 minute walk away. Cell phone service is available beside the owner's house.
- Thors Cove Cottage is on a septic field system and has a
low environmental impact. Please don't bring chlorine bleach or harsh chemicals
to the cottage. Cottage kitchen & bathroom are cleaned with septic safe
hydrogen peroxide bleach.
